Global Parts Direct
One of two operating divisions of General Automotive Company, Global Parts Direct (GPD) is a Tier 1 Supplier to Chrysler/Mopar for mobile electronics, one of the fastest-growing segments of the auto industry. A presence in the industry since 1995, GPD responds to the hottest trends in automotive customization, specializing in high-margin, value-added, dealer-installed options such as DVD players and rear view camera systems. Since in-vehicle entertainment and information systems are a purely outsourced profit center for carmakers, GPD provides a particularly valuable solution for its customers. OE Source
One of two operating divisions of General Automotive Company, OE Source (OES) imports and sells hard-to-get auto parts from proprietary sources domestically and abroad, fulfilling critical portions of its customers' supply chain. These customers include large, multi-national distributors. OES specializes in engine management products such as O2 sensors that are a rapidly growing - and government mandated - segment of the auto supply industry. Through its direct relationship to manufacturers in Asia, OES enjoys a competitive advantage in terms of quality and pricing that will enable it to leverage these relationships into increased market share and profitability. |
